Tire Rack Street Survival – The Ranch (Larimer County Fairgrounds) in Loveland
October 7 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
When your teen driver attends a Street Survival school, we teach them to control their car in unpredictable situations based on its handling limits. They master the application of driving physics, learn how to make good driving decisions, and react more quickly. They become more aware and learn how to anticipate actions of other drivers.
RMC BMW CCA had a very successful Tire Rack Street Survival (TRSS) school last year and thanks to repeat sponsorship from Co’s BMW, we will be holding our 2018 TRSS school in Loveland on October 7, 2018 at The Ranch Events Complex (Larimer County Fairgrounds).
Check back here for registration information as the event gets closer.
In addition to looking for students, we are also looking for the following:
- Coaches: We need at least 30 coaches. You don’t need to be a DE instructor, but you should at least have the skills to run in an advanced DE run group or a few years of autocrossing experience, as well as the ability to calmly communicate succinctly from the passenger seat. In addition, all coaches are required to register with the Street Survival program and take an online training module: http://streetsurvival.org/schools/become-a-coach/
Please send a completion certificate to Eugene (contact information below) at the end of the test. Coaches who did the training last year (we have you in our records) do not have to take it again, though we recommend repeating it as a refresher
- Registration and Event Volunteers: We need six people to help with registration on the day of the event and assist throughout the day with logistics.
If you are interested in volunteering or coaching, please contact Eugene Yen, the event coordinator.
Please forward to others might be interested in being a student, volunteer, or coach!
