The BMW High Performance Driving School gives drivers the unique experience of driving their car at speed on the race track. The school is open to BMW CCA members 18 or older with a valid driver’s license. Small groups of 1-2 students will be paired with an instructor to perform exercises in a lead/follow instruction format. After on-track sessions the instructors will debrief students and prepare them for the next session. Communication between cars will be done via 1-way radio to allow for in-car coaching while maintaining Covid-19 protocols. Our experienced instructors have come from racing, autocrossing, and BMW CCA schools.
Time Trials (TT)
We will have a 2 day TT scheduled for the fall Driving school. Look at the Club Racing/Time Trials page for all events.
High Plains Raceway will hold a public open lapping day the Friday before the driving school. This is not a BMW club-sanctioned event, but instructors and advanced students are welcome to participate. Participants can register on Motorsportreg.com
