Car Control Clinic & Autocross School
May 1 @ 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
The goal of the Autocross School/Car Control Clinic is to teach students the foundational skills of high-performance driving. You will learn the key concepts of vehicle dynamics, car control and the sport of autocross in a safe and fun environment from our team of experienced autocrossers and high performance driving instructors.
This day is composed of a morning Beginner Autocross School and Car Control Clinic, followed by lunch for all drivers and volunteers. After lunch, the learning continues with our Autocross school for new AX drivers and those who want to improve on their skills. The instructional content of the Car Control Clinic is identical to the Autocross school. The only difference is that the instructors you will see at the Driving School will be your instructors at the Car Control Clinic.
This school is open to all BMW CCA members. Beginners, convertibles and roadsters are welcome. BMW and Porsche SAVs (X3, X5, X6, Cayenne, Macan, etc.) may participate but must be on street tires. Other trucks, SUVs, and high center of gravity vehicles are not permitted. Registration will close at 6:00 PM the Wednesday prior to the event, or earlier if the event cap is reached. If the event cap is reached, subsequent registrants will be placed on the wait-list. Wait-listed participants will be notified via email no later than Friday afternoon before the event if they are accepted. If you have questions, send them to [email protected] and a member of the autocross committee will reply.
Registration details TBD.
