    1998 BMW M3 Coupe – Street/Track/Autocross
    Arctic Silver with black leather Vader interior

    Purchased March 2009 with 169,100 miles, currently 173,xxx
    The previous owner put a significant amount of the miles on over the span of 2 years. These were highway miles accumulated on the central coast of California which is wide open. Considering the miles, the interior is in very good shape but the body shows wear as you would expect of a car of this age and miles. The car was stock when I purchased it.
    In the years since I bought the car I have done extensive maintenance and upgrade activities that are detailed out in this listing. The car just passed smog in June 2013 with a new Magnaflow high flow catalytic converter mid-pipe (part number 24014). The car was originally set up for autocross (SCCA STU) but more recently I made improvements for reliability for track use, which moved it beyond STU (but it is a BAS/BAR car under BMWCCA rules). It would not be difficult to move the car back down to STU compliance if desired. All work on the car has been done by me, SCR Performance of Loveland CO, and BimmerHaus of Broomfield CO. This car is riding on the new for 2013 AST 4150 single adjustable dampers with associated hardware purchased through Vorshlag. Current alignment is an aggressive autocross/track setup with corner-balancing.
    Currently the roll bar, Sparco seats, and Odyssey battery are out of the car. The stock seats and battery are installed. I removed the OEM trunk spoiler but it can be easily reinstalled if desired. The car will be sold riding on OEM wheels (with like new tires). See list of spares for everything you get with the car.     I make no warranties in relation to the sale of this vehicle, but the typical failure points for the e36 M3 have been proactively managed through upgrades or replacement maintenance (ex. cooling system).
